Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip

Very good fishing for us today and beautiful weather. We got off the dock with only 8 anglers today and had a really fun day up the coast.

We started our day up the coast in the deeper water and had excellent fishing on beautiful quality Reds with a few coppers and grouper mixed in. Our light load of anglers made quick work of the eager biting fish and we had our limits quickly. From there we went into the shallow water and checked a few kelp spots and found one zone that was holding a lot of calicos. We caught a few handfulls of legal fish and about the same of shorts. We certainly saw a lot of fish in the kelp.

Our 8 anglers out today took home 67 Reds, 13 misc. Rockfish, 1 Lingcod and 4 calico bass kept. 17-20 released.

The Coral Sea is 3/4 Day fishing tomorrow again it plenty of room. The Stardust is chartered tomorrow however will be 3/4 Day fishing Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
