3/4 day Rockfish and lingcod limits at Santa Rosa Island

Coral Sea 3/4 Day trip
Excellent fishing today for us at santa Rosa island folks. We got off the dock with 18 anglers and headed across with a break in the weather finally.
We started our morning in the shallower water around 150 feet and had steady fishing for our first hour or so on mixed coppers, reds, some large blue rockfish and Lingcod. The wind kicked up a bit and made it pretty uncomfortable for the shallow water we were trying to fish so we headed down the island to try some of the deeper spots.
Our second half of the day was very fast paced fishing for large coppers and reds and the remainder of what we needed on Lingcod. As usual the double dropper loops with Squid or live Anchovie were the most productive however there were a select few anglers today that caught more than there fair share on the medium size 4-6 oz. Jigs.
Our 18 anglers fishing today ended up with 128 Coppers, 15 reds, 37 assorted rockfish and 36 Lingcod.
The Coral Sea IS A GO1/2 Day fishing tomorrow and the Stardust is going 3/4 Day fishing with an extremely light load so far. Just show up for both Boats!!Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or book online at our website.
