Good afternoon folks we are making our way back toward the dock after a productive yet challenging day of fishing up the coast today. The wind was up and with the current the swells were close together and steep.

Lingcod fishing today was a little slower at first but once we found the right area it was fun fishing on a nice grade of fish. The afternoon fishing for Rockfish was scratchy however nice quality copper Rockfish kept people interested.

Our morning was focused on lingcod and the afternoon we fished some shallower areas for copper Rockfish and misc other fishes as well. The live sardines were the ticket for the Lingcod and a few anglers caught some larger models on the jigs as well.

Our 10 anglers had a blast with fairly fast fishing in some spots. We caught a decent amount of reds and chuckles and brown rockfish along with lots of olives as well. We fished a wide area of spots but found bitting fish in nearly every zone.

We had a great bite on really nice fish right off the bat. However, unfortunately the weather pushed us down in between the islands where we looked for some rockfish and other species.

Our morning started off very slow which drove us around in search of bitting fish. We found a few spots mid morning that kicked out some numbers on decent chuckles and reds and other mixed rockfish.

We started off fishing the deeper water with great readings catching only a few fish after 5 or 6 stops. We ran into the shallower hard bottom inside the rigs and at first it looked promising.

We made a move up towards Rosa and were able to keep a good pick going on nice coppers with a few lings and Whitefish to go along with it.

The weather was beautiful and calm all day on the coast so we decided to make a little run that payed off later in the day. Our afternoon fishing was exceptional catching

Late in the day our current finally slacked off and for our last hour or so it was very steady action on Coppers, Lingcod and Whitefish. Our group was awesome today
