Well folks today was a very tough morning for us as we started in a different area and although we saw sign on a few spots fishing was very slow. A big thanks to Capt. Sye on the Coral Sea for helping us out when when he let us know another area a few miles away was producing.

We made a jump down and our anglers were rewarded with very steady fishing on beautiful quality Coppers and Reds as well as some Lingcod . The double dropper loops with a 12 ounce sinker and with Squid or Anchovie worked very well and our anglers took full advantage winding up doubles and quickly re-baiting and getting a second drop on the quick drifts.

Our 23 passengers ended up with limits of Rockfish consisting of 57 Beautiful Reds, 148 Big Coppers , 25 assorted Rockfish and 17 Lingcod.

The Stardust is running a 3/4 Day tomorrow with 5 spots left and the Coral Sea is scheduled for a 1/2 Day with a lighter load. The Stardust is chartered both Saturday and Sunday so the Coral Sea will be running 3/4 Day those days so call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 to get on the boat.
