Stardust 3/4 Day trip

Good afternoon folks we are coming in late after what ended up being a successful day at the islands however it certainly didn't start that way.

When we first arrived at the islands we found absolutely ripping current everywhere we looked and in turn we found very little that wanted to bite and spent a lot of time tangled. Late in the day our current finally slacked off and for our last hour or so it was very steady action on Coppers, Lingcod and Whitefish. Our group was awesome today and fished every drift all the way to the end when we had to head it for home. The double dropper loop and Squid strip worked the best with a few guys catching some on jigs after conditions straightened out.

Our 30 anglers ended the day with 186 Rockfish, 43 Whitefish, 5 Sheephead, 3 Cabezon and 42 Lingcod.

The Stardust is heading out 3/4 Day fishing again Saturday and Sunday. The Coral Sea is chartered tomorrow and will be back to 1/2 Day fishing on Sunday and 3/4 Day fishing Monday-Wednesday.
