Good afternoon folks we are heading back from a very fun day of fishing at Santa Rosa Island today with a long time Charter group put together by Jaime Herrera. As always the group were a pleasure to have on board and the crew and I had a blast with all of them.

With our 26 eager fisherman we stayed deep anywhere 270-290 feet all day and for the majority of the day we experienced steady rock fish fishing and had a few stones that kicked out some decent Lingcod fishing as well. We had some spots kick out straight Reds where others were much more of a mixed bag.

Double dropper loops and 12 oz. Sinker was the rig of choice today for the Rockfish and the Squid strip helped catch the good quality we were after.

Our 26 anglers are taking home 152 Reds, 86 coppers, 22 misc Rockfish and 39 Lingcod.

The Stardust is chartered tomorrow however the Coral Sea has a 3/4 day heading out with a few spots left. Call Sea Landing at 805 963-3563 to book a spot for tomorrows trip with Capt. Sye and the crew.
