Good afternoon Anglers we are heading back to the dock after enjoying beautiful weather study fishing on both quality Rockfish and some nice Ling Cod.

Today we had of our repeat Charter groups put together by Loc Tran and as always the group worked well together and listened to the crew and there suggestions making it a very fun day for the crew and I.

We started our day in 45-50 fathoms of water and managed right around 60 beautiful quality Reds and Coppers. From there we worked in between the islands in 180 feet and found steady fishing on more Coppers and a nice hit on Lingcod to get everyone excited. The anglers fishing with the double dropper loop with a 10-12oz sinker seemed to have an edge in the shallower water today.

Please note we have been spending our afternoons in shallower water and as a result those anglers that like to fish a 4-6 oz. Jig have been having a blast.

Our 24 anglers are taking home 72 Reds, 142 Nice Coppers, 24 assorted Rockfish, 2 Cabezon and 32 Lingcod.

Both boats are full for tomorrow however there is room on either boat Monday-Wednesday and with the nice weather forecast I'm sure both boats will be running. The Stardust has 1/2 Day Trips and the Coral Sea has 3/4 Day Trips online so call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 to get on a trip. See you soon.
