Stardust Charter at Islands-9

Beautiful weather today at the islands for us today. The water rolled over a little and we were lacking conditions most of our day making it very scratchy. We looked in depths from 180-300 feet today and for the most part everything seemed to react about the same.

Much thanks to our 23 anglers fishing on board today. Everyone fished hard and stuck it out late and as a result we managed to put a nice day together and everyone has plenty of fish to take home.

Today the double dropper loop with a 10-12 oz sinker and a lively Anchovie was the most productive for us today.

Our 23 people who fished all day ended up with 183 Rockfish consisting of 38 Reds, 110 Coppers and 35 misc Rockfish. In addition to the nice quality Rockfish we caught 2 Cabezon and 14 Lingcod.

The next available trip on the Stardust is a 1/2 Day trip Tuesday April 5th. The Coral Sea is full tomorrow however has limited room on there 3/4 Day trips Monday through Wednesday. Call Sea Landing at (805) 963-3564 to book a spot on either boat.

These guys are great! I had an amazing day fishing with them. The captain got us on the fish, once the fish were on the whole crew was on point getting people where the needed to be, and getting fish on the boat. Epic day, amazing crew!
