Coral Sea 3/4 Day Island Trip

We took advantage of the one nice day to run across & fish Santa Rosa Island this week & had a very productive day of rockfish fishing...

Our 23 anglers caught 175 reds, 45 copper rockfish, 10 misc rockfish, and 1 lingcod. We fished in 290-330' of water today and the quality of fish was very good! As usual, we stuck to our program of fishing double dropper loops rigs with live anchovy & squid strips with 12 oz's of weight.

We are chartered tomorrow but the Stardust is 3/4 day Monday so be sure to call Sea Landing at 805-963-3564 as soon as possible to ensure that the trip has enough passengers to go. The local shallow water rockfish fishing should be very good right now!
