Stardust 3/4-day charter 8/5/17 Martin Roofing and New Image Plastering.

This Morning we had conditions for an island crossing. The first spots for the morning went full speed on super grouper, coppers and reds and our 30 anglers loaded the bags until we had to pull off, leaving ourselves room for 60 more, so we could try for lings. Capt. Dane on the Coral Sea had quickly limited his 9 folks on the gators and passed along the hot dope.
A short move had the lings bending multiple rods. A little more than an hour later and we had 60, all we could handle, with big fish topping 20 pounds. We went in shallow and bagged the last few rockfish we needed and headed for the barn. On the way home we were treated to playful dolphin pods, and breaching, fin slapping humpback whale. What a day!
