Coral Sea 3/4 day 6.20.17

Posted On: Jun 20, 2017 at 11:17 PM

Good afternoon anglers. Once again we had an unfavorable weather forecast for across at the islands and headed up the coast to look for the Reds and other Rockfish for our group today.

Our morning started out very scratchy with plenty of mark on the meter however nothing was too willing to bite. We scratched our morning together and ended up finding some fish that wanted to cooperate around 1130. We had a couple drifts that bit quite well for us with Reds, Coppers and a smattering of misc. Rockfish as well. Our group did a great job and although there arms got tired they stuck at the rail and fished every spot throughout the day.

Our 25 anglers ended the day with 158 Reds, 39 Copper rockfish and 53 misc.rockfish and 1 Lingcod.

The Coral Sea is full for tomorrows 3/4 Day trip and will be back at it Friday on a 1/2 day trip. The Stardust is 1/2 Day fishing tomorrow with a light load so please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for a reservation or visit our website to book online.
